Description
This photograph is very special to me because is it serves as a confirmation for following my heart. I was having lunch with a friend of mine at a fine dining restaurant in January 2012. We were enjoying the great food and company when I noticed the name of the artist on the wall. It was a fellow artist and friend. I spoke to the owner and asked if I would be able to one day display my work in his restaurant. He was delighted and wanted to see my portfolio right away to showcase some new work for Valentine's Day. A few days later, he accepted me to have my first solo art exhibition with over 30 paintings. I remember walking down the street that day and seeing this sign. I knew I had to take a picture. You see, on New Year's Eve, I promised myself that I would have my first solo exhibition that year, and 31 days later, my wish was granted...simply by living and following my dream.
